Expert App upgrades your Expert from “one option in the marketplace” to a standalone product — with a dedicated subdomain, white-label experience, and built-in admin dashboard.
Your users don’t need to know Profy exists. What they perceive is an independent AI product, built by you.

Expert vs Expert App

Setting Up Expert App

1

Open Expert App Configuration

In Studio, open your Expert and switch to the “App” tab.
2

Configure Basic Info

Set the App name (can differ from Expert name), Slug (subdomain prefix, e.g., myappmyapp.profy.cn), and product description.
3

Select Admin Modules

Choose which admin dashboard modules to enable.
4

Submit for Review

App configuration changes require review before taking effect.
5

Go Live

After review approval, users can access your Expert App via the subdomain.

White-Label Experience

When users visit your Expert App, they see:
  • A dedicated subdomain ({slug}.profy.cn)
  • A clean chat interface focused on your Expert
  • Dedicated login and account management
  • Complete conversation history
  • No marketplace page distractions

Built-in Admin Dashboard

Expert App comes with an admin dashboard to help you understand and operate your product:

Enabled by Default

Customer Management

View the list of users using your App, their usage frequency, and last active time.

Feedback Management

Collect and manage user feedback, filter by type and time, and mark processing status.
More admin modules (analytics, knowledge base, etc.) are under development and will be available in future versions. New modules will be added once connected to real data.

Review Process

Expert App configuration changes have an independent review channel, using the same dual-track mechanism as Expert version reviews:
  • First Publish: Submit App config → Review → Go live upon approval
  • Config Update: Modify → Submit for review → Old App stays online → New version takes effect upon approval
  • Withdraw/Resubmit: Same flow as Expert version reviews
Once an App Slug (subdomain prefix) goes live, changes should be made carefully — users may have bookmarked the address.

Multi-Tenant Support

If your Expert App serves multiple independent client organizations, you can enable multi-tenant mode:
  • Each tenant sees their own data
  • Supports organization-level member and permission management
  • Ideal for B2B scenarios
Multi-tenancy is an optional advanced feature. In most cases, you won’t need to enable it.

Developer Integration

Expert App supports OAuth integration. Developers can programmatically invoke your Expert through the Platform API, making it suitable for building automated workflows or embedding Expert capabilities into other systems.

Relationship with the Marketplace

Expert App and marketplace presence are not mutually exclusive:
  • The same Expert can be displayed in the marketplace and run as an App simultaneously
  • The App provides an independent entry point and branded experience
  • Billing and revenue systems remain consistent with standard Experts

Use Cases

Built a “Legal Consultation AI” or “Design Review AI”? Expert App makes it look like a professional standalone product.
Give your team or clients a clean entry address. No need to explain “go to Profy and search for XX” — just share a link.
Pair an online course with a dedicated AI tutor. Students access it directly through an independent URL.
When customizing an Expert for clients, a white-label App makes the deliverable more professional. Clients see a product built specifically for them.
