The paths aren’t exclusive, but order matters: skipping Credits and jumping straight to creator revenue leaves you unable to see why diamonds and credits are two separate systems.

Common misconceptions

These are the misunderstandings most likely to send you down the wrong path; correcting them early saves time:

Misconception	Reality
”Free Expert = costs nothing”	Free means the creator charges nothing; model compute still deducts credits per token
”Credits and diamonds are the same thing”	Credits are spending currency (users pay), diamonds are creator earnings (creators earn) — two separate ledgers
”Trial turns reset”	They accumulate per you × that Expert and never reset; new device or deleted session doesn’t refill them
”Memory is global”	There is personal memory (cross-Expert) and expert memory (that Expert only), with separate automatic extraction paths
”Plugin selections are remembered”	The plugin panel is per-session state and is lost on refresh
”Publishing means going live”	Experts, apps and promo notes all go through review; an already-live version stays online during it
”In IM everyone spends their own credits”	Usage bills the account that bound the channel
”Withdrawal pays out cash”	Withdrawal is currently hard-disabled; diamonds are usable on-platform only
