# Workspace file tree

> The web file tree is assembled for the viewer. The gold folders are not on the sandbox disk.

The file tree is a view the web app assembles. It is not the sandbox disk. Disk paths are in [Cloud Sandbox](/en/documentation/how-it-works/sandbox.md).

`.profy` sits beside the project folders. `.profy` and the folders under it are gold and view-only. Project folders are real directories in the sandbox and can be edited.

```text theme={null}
.profy/
├── rules/                 team-shared
├── skills/
│   ├── private
│   └── team-shared
├── channels/
│   ├── private
│   └── team-shared
├── scheduled-tasks/
│   ├── private
│   └── team-shared
└── memory/
    ├── private
    └── team-shared
personal projects
team-shared projects
```

Two people on the same machine can see different gold folders, because the tree is assembled for the current viewer. The team-shared section is the same for both. The personal section is only that person's.

* Rules are team-shared only, and they are the same rules as in the creator studio.
* Personal skills are that person's global skills plus their skills in this workspace. Team-shared skills belong to the expert. Text edits go through the skill API.
* Channels, scheduled tasks, and memory split the same way. A credential appears only in the section it belongs to.
* There is no basic-info folder and no plugins folder. Chat history is not a folder.

Gold folders still appear while the sandbox is starting. If one gold request fails, that cell is empty and the project folders still show.
