Having trouble using Profy? Here are the most common questions and answers from our users.

## Account

  <Accordion title="How do I sign up for a Profy account?">
    Visit [app.profy.cn](https://app.profy.cn) and click "Sign Up." You can register with your phone number or third-party login (Feishu, WeChat, etc.). You'll receive initial credits to start exploring immediately after registration.

  <Accordion title="What if I forgot my password?">
    Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. You'll receive a verification code via the phone number used during registration. After verification, you can reset your password.

  <Accordion title="How do I change my linked phone number?">
    Go to "Settings" → "Account Security" and find the phone number section. You'll need to verify your current phone number first, then link the new one.

  <Accordion title="How do I delete my account?">
    Go to "Settings" → "Account Security" — there's a "Delete Account" option at the bottom. After deletion, credits cannot be recovered, conversation history is permanently erased, and purchased Expert access becomes invalid. This action is irreversible — please proceed with caution.

  <Accordion title="Can one phone number register multiple accounts?">
    No. One phone number can only register one Profy account.

## Credits

    Credits are Profy's virtual currency used to pay for AI conversations and tool usage. You obtain credits through top-ups, subscription plans, or promotional activities, and they are consumed each time you chat with an Expert.

    * **Avatar dropdown menu**: Click your avatar in the top-right corner to quickly view your current balance
    * **Transaction history**: Go to "Settings" → "Transaction History" for detailed income and expense records

  <Accordion title="How are credits consumed?">
    Consumption varies by scenario: text conversations are billed by token count (rates differ by model); image generation is billed per call; video/music is billed by duration. Tools like search don't incur additional charges, but model processing still consumes credits. Exact rates are shown in real-time within the product.

  <Accordion title="How can I get more credits?">
    Subscribe to a plan (monthly credit allowance), purchase a top-up pack (instant delivery), redeem a gift card, or invite friends to sign up.

  <Accordion title="Do credits expire?">
    Some credits have an expiration date (e.g., plan-granted credits expire with the subscription cycle, promotional rewards may be time-limited). Check the expiration date for each batch of credits in your "Transaction History." Actual terms are shown in real-time within the product.

  <Accordion title="What if I run out of credits?">
    Purchase a top-up pack (credits arrive instantly after payment), upgrade your subscription plan (higher monthly allowance), or invite friends via your referral link for bonus credits.

## Subscriptions

    Profy offers multiple subscription tiers, from Free to Flagship, covering different usage needs. Each plan differs in credit allowance, available models, and feature access.

    Specific plan names, prices, and benefits are displayed in real-time on the "Subscription" page within the product.

  <Accordion title="How do I upgrade my plan?">
    Go to "Settings" → "Subscription Management" or the "Upgrade" option in the navigation bar. Select your target plan and complete payment. When upgrading, the remaining value of your current plan is prorated as a discount.

  <Accordion title="How do I cancel auto-renewal?">
    Go to "Settings" → "Subscription Management" → "Auto-Renewal" section, and click cancel. After cancellation, your current billing period remains active. When it expires, auto-billing stops and you'll revert to the Free tier.

  <Accordion title="What's the difference between Team and Individual plans?">

    Individual and Team plans can coexist — you can hold both a personal subscription and a team membership simultaneously, switching between them via the avatar switcher.

    After plan expiration:

    * Unused plan-granted credits may become invalid (as indicated in expiration notices)
    * Your account reverts to Free tier benefits
    * Existing conversation history is not lost
    * Purchased Expert access remains unaffected

## Using Experts

  <Accordion title="How do I find the right Expert?">
    In the "Expert Marketplace" you can:

    * Browse experts by category
    * Search by keyword
    * View featured recommendations
    * Read other users' experiences in the Content Plaza

    Most Experts offer free trial turns — try before you buy.

  <Accordion title="I purchased an Expert but can't use it?">
    Please check:

    * Confirm the purchase was successful (check transaction history)
    * Confirm you have sufficient credits (conversations still consume credits)
    * Refresh the page and try again
    * If the issue persists, contact support with the Expert name and your account information

  <Accordion title="What if Expert responses are low quality?">
    A few suggestions for improvement:

    * **Be more specific**: Provide more detailed background and requirements
    * **Try different models**: Switch AI models in the conversation settings
    * **Install skills**: Install relevant skill packs to enhance the Expert's capabilities
    * **Give feedback**: Use the feedback option on the Expert's detail page to notify the creator

    If it's a systemic issue (e.g., Expert not responding at all), please contact us through the help center.

  <Accordion title="How do I report a problematic Expert?">
    There's a "Report" option at the bottom of the Expert detail page. You can report:

    * Content violations
    * False advertising (capabilities don't match description)
    * Other inappropriate behavior

    The platform will review reports and take action when necessary.

## Technical

  <Accordion title="Which browsers are supported?">
    Recommended: latest versions of Chrome (best experience), Firefox, Safari, and Edge. IE is not supported.

  <Accordion title="Can I use Profy on mobile?">
    Yes. The web interface has responsive design, and core features work in mobile browsers. You can also use Experts through IM channels (Feishu/DingTalk/WeCom/WeChat) on mobile. Multi-panel layouts, code sandboxes, and other advanced features are best used on desktop.

  <Accordion title="Are there file upload size limits?">
    Yes. Both individual file size and total storage space have limits tied to your subscription tier. Specific limits are shown in the upload prompt within the product.

  <Accordion title="How long are conversation records kept?">
    Your conversation records are permanently retained in your account and are never automatically deleted. You can find all past conversations in "Conversation History" at any time.

    If you manually delete a conversation, that action is irreversible.

  <Accordion title="How is data security and privacy handled?">
    * All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
    * Conversation content is stored on secure servers
    * Your conversation content is not used to train AI models
    * You can delete your conversation records and account data at any time
