> Generate videos from text descriptions or images

Profy Expert has video generation capabilities — from simple short clips to complete video productions with scripts and soundtracks, you can create them all through conversation.

## Quick Video Generation

Simply describe the video scene you want in the conversation:

* "Generate a time-lapse style video of a sunset beach"
* "Turn this landscape photo into a slow zoom-in motion video"
* "Create an animation of particles converging into a logo"

Expert will select an appropriate video model and generate the content. Once complete, you can preview it directly in the conversation.

## Movie Production

Movie is Profy's professional video production plugin, offering a seven-stage pipeline workflow.

<Note>
  Before using the Movie feature, you need to enable the Movie plugin in the conversation's plugin settings.
</Note>

### Seven-Stage Production Pipeline

<Steps>
  <Step title="Scriptwriting">
    You describe the video's theme and general content, and Expert helps you write a complete narrative script, including scene descriptions and dialogue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Storyboarding">
    Expert breaks the script down into a storyboard, planning the composition, shot type, camera movement, and duration for each shot.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Shot Planning">
    Specific visual parameters are determined for each storyboard frame — visual style, color tone, character actions, etc. — to ensure visual consistency.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Asset Generation">
    Video clips are generated shot by shot. You can monitor the generation progress of each segment in the video panel in real time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assembly">
    All generated video clips are assembled in storyboard order to form a complete rough cut.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Soundtrack">
    Based on the video's theme and mood, Expert generates or selects appropriate background music.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Final Output">
    Video and audio are merged to export the final production. You can download the complete video file.
  </Step>
</Steps>

### Video Panel

During Movie production, a video panel automatically opens on the right side, displaying in real time:

* The current production stage and overall progress
* The status of each storyboard shot (pending / generating / completed)
* Previews of completed clips
* A player for the final production

You can review completed clips in the panel at any time, or pause the production process to provide feedback.

## Tips

<Tip>
  * When describing video scenes, clearly specify **movement direction** (push in, pan, rotate) and **speed** (slow, fast)
  * For Movie productions, discuss the overall vision with Expert before starting generation to avoid major changes mid-process
  * Video generation takes time — consider continuing to discuss next steps with Expert while generation is in progress
</Tip>

## Billing

Video generation is billed by duration — the longer the generated video, the more credits consumed. The exact cost depends on the selected model and video parameters — refer to the real-time pricing shown in the product.

The Movie production pipeline may involve different billing types across stages (video generation by duration, soundtrack per call). The total cost will be communicated before generation begins.
